The Football Tournament of Kabul Education University Concluded with the Championship Title Going to the Faculty of Language and Literature!
On Sunday, 21/2/1404 (HIJ), corresponding to 13/11/1446 (QA), the closing ceremony of the football tournament of Kabul Education University was held in the presence of the university's vice chancellors, deans of faculties, professors, administrative heads, staff, and students.
At the beginning of the ceremony, respected Dr. Qudratullah "Omarkhil", Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, welcomed the participants and spoke about the tournament. He stated that the matches concluded peacefully and securely on the university’s football field. He also congratulated the players from the faculties that won the top three positions and added: “We hope similar tournaments will also be held in other sports disciplines.”
During the event, respected Engineer Khan Agha "Khabib", Head of Student Services, spoke about the importance of sports and added that the Student Services Department plans to organize more sporting events. He encouraged students to actively participate in university sports tournaments.
Afterward, respected Prof. Ubaidullah "Hamidi", Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, congratulated the players and expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellors for Financial and Administrative Affairs and for Student Affairs for organizing the tournament and bearing much of the responsibility.
In conclusion, the ceremony ended with the distribution of certificates of appreciation and medals to the organizers and players.
