Biography of Pohannmal Seyed Nader Wafa, Head of the Russian Department

Pohannmal Seyed Nader Wafa, son of Seyed Mohammad, was born in the year 1363 (Hijri Solar) in Yakawlang District of Bamiyan Province. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in his birthplace and graduated in 1378 from Deh Sorkh High School of Yakawlang District.

In 1381, through the Kankor examination, he was admitted to Kabul University, and after two years, by obtaining an academic scholarship, he traveled to the Russian Federation to continue his studies. In 1387, Seyed Nader Wafa graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Voronezh State University of the Russian Federation. In the same year, he was appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Russian Language and Literature, Faculty of Languages and Literature, University of Education.

In 1397, he went to the Russian Federation to pursue further studies, and after two years of study, in 1399, he returned to the country after obtaining a master’s degree from Voronezh State University. He served for one year as the Deputy of the Faculty of Languages and Literature, and since the month of Asad of the year 1404, he has been serving as the Head of the Russian Department.

Pohannmal Seyed Nader Wafa has been a member of university and faculty committees, and during his service, he has authored one research work, published four research articles in the Payam-e-Ma’rifat journal, and published four research articles in international journals.
