Kabul Education University – One-Day Workshop for Newly Admitted Students of the Faculty of Languages and Literature

On Monday, 8/3/1447 qa (corresponding to 10/6/1404 SH), a one-day workshop on the ratified decree of the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him) regarding harmful traditions and introduction to the Faculty of Languages and Literature was held in the Abdul Rahman bin Samrah (RA) Grand Hall of Kabul Education.University The participants were the newly admitted students of 1404 SH who had successfully passed the entrance exam to different departments of the Faculty of Languages and Literature.
The event was attended by the University Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, the Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Literature, professors, the Director of Student Services and Coordination, and the new students.
The workshop began with the recitation of several blessed verses from the Holy Qur’an.
At the beginning, the Chancellor of Kabul University of Education, Sheikh al-Hadith Sayed Bashir Agha Hashimi, delivered an opening speech. He offered important guidance to the students on recognizing responsibilities, mutual respect, good morals, attentiveness to the learning process, and the value of time.
Afterward, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Mawlawi Rahman Gul Wasiq, while congratulating the students, spoke about the importance of sound beliefs, the value of time, responsibilities, and provided essential information regarding the workshops and courses scheduled for the academic year.
Subsequently, the Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Literature, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim, recited the ratified decree concerning harmful traditions to the students.
During the workshop, a professor of the Faculty of Languages and Literature provided the new students with information about the faculty’s significance, organizational structure, academic staff, administrative personnel, objectives, teaching methods, academic year structure, number of semesters, examinations, the credit system regulations, and the class schedules.
In conclusion, the university leadership prayed for the success of all students and wished them prosperity in their academic journey.
